Stained glass commission- Bicycles!
This client commissioned me to design and make a small stained glass design based on 1930's cycling, as a present for someone.
Working with her at every stage, these pictures show how a design was chosen from original artwork, a cartoon drawn, to produce the final piece!
The panel uses different colours and textures of glass. It measures approximately 32cm high by 21 cm wide.

Old stained glass panels restored... almost done!
These panels have been repaired in the studio using traditional techniques with new glass and lead. The pieces are almost completed, seen here before a final clean and polish.

Support Designer Makers... buy handmade!
UK Handmade is running a campaign to get people buying Handmade and supporting independent designers and makers throughout the UK.
Sign their pledge and join the cause!
Why Buy Handmade?
Buying from small independent businesses and individual makers has never been so important particularly given the current economic climate.
Many designer / makers will happily produce items that are made to order and bespoke so you can get something uniquely personal at surprisingly affordable prices because many designers don't have the same overheads as shops.
If you like this you'll love... UK Handmade where artists/designers from across all the art disciplines have a place.
